Places To Serve

Serving is an important part of who we are and what we do at Argyle.

There are many opportunities to serve both inside and outside the church. Here are just a few of them.

LifeGroups
  • LifeGroup Leaders insure groups start and end on time, keep discussions on track, provide accountability, and interface with the LifeGroup Team.
  • LifeGroup Home Hosts provide a meeting place in their home. Their hospitality is an important part of what makes groups successful.
  • To get involved in leading a LifeGroup contact the LifeGroup Team.

  • Parking Lot Greeter who smiles, helps with parking, gives directions, provides an umbrella on a rainy day, and helps with outside security.
  • Usher who smiles, helps with seating, answers questions, and helps with the offering.
  • Host at The Hub who smiles, answers questions, and staffs the The Hub where people find answers.
  • Security Team who smiles, and helps with security and in case of emergency.

Children's Ministry
  • Everyone working with kids at Argyle is required to undergo a criminal and sexual offender screening, and annual training.

Outside Our Walls

Much of our most important work is done in the community around us.

We encourage members of the Argyle family to be involved. Here are some organizations doing good work in Jacksonville that we endorse.

Spiritual Gifts

We always serve best when we are working within our spiritual giftedness.
Don't know your spiritual gift? Here is a free, online survey.

When you complete your survey, please share your results with us so we can help you better understand your gifts and how to put them to work in our church and community.
